Here’s your opportunity to own a piece of history. Incredibly amazing condition for likely being over 100 years old.
Based on my internet research (I’d be happy to share links) Henry Hammerly was a charter member of the Bisbee Lodge freemasons in 1910. He likely was involved before and/or after that as well. He may have been the president as he was the first member listed. Henry himself was a clerk of district court and owned 160 acres in Devils Lake, ND.
Each name is handwritten in ink by the same person.
Other members included: Andrew Gerrard, A.W. Swenson, John Gaug, J. K. Aanes, G.J. Leonard, Albert Linn, J.C. Siple, C.P. Peterson, H. Abercrombie, N.L. Smith, Theo. Zirjacks, J.A. Hendrickson, Mos. (Mr.?) Johnston, J.K. Lund, N. Larson, D.M. (O.M.?) Ness, E.L. Nelson, P.D. (P.O.?) Bugge, J.M. Jonson, C.J. Berg, Axsel Olson, Mos. (Mr.?) Oakland, Geo. Rumble and Henry Ostby (Ortby?). I did not research the rest of the members.
The bottom says, “Charter Members Bisbee Lodge No. 121 A.F. & A.M.”
This piece of mason history is held in a wooden frame that is painted in a golden finish. In good condition overall but the top of it does show some slight discoloration (see photos).
Located in Roy Lake, MN, nearby Mahnomen, MN. Willing to meet within a couple of hours (Grand Forks, maybe?) distance if you’d like to purchase.
