This backpack is great for 18+ months old babies and toddlers while hiking and anywhere. Could possibly be used for younger ages. It is very well-made; able to stand freely on the ground to stay upright while loading child; a zippered pouch for personal items (diapers, wipes, etc); and hooks for sippy cups, teething items or toys to occupy during long hikes. Very easy and comfortable for parent and child with adjustable straps all around and mesh backing for breathability. Similar to Kelty backpacks (I actually preferred this over one our old Kelty backpack!) Tough Traveler is the brand name; can be used for hiking or simply touring festivals with your little one.
