Vintage Set of LA BORDE Chrome Molybdenum Stainless Japanize-Style Knives (4).
Each knife has a little heart shape stamped out of the tip, the engraved brand "La Borde" and "Chrome Molybdenum Stainless" underneath; they feature Three Brass Rivets that hold a full tang that extends the entire length of the Rosewood Handle to a Straight Edged Blade.
Chrome molybdenum steel plate is a grade of alloy steel usually referred to as chrome-moly. It is used for a broad range of applications. The molybdenum offers higher strength and increased working temperatures, and the chromium increases resistance to corrosion and oxidation. As a result, chrome-moly is stronger than standard stainless steel and has a high strength-to-weight ratio.

Slicer - Full length 14", blade 9", width 1 1/2".
Santokus - Full length 11 1/2", blade 6 1/2", width 2 1/4".
Carver - Full length 11", blade 6", width 1 1/8".
Paring - Full length 7 1/2", blade 3 1/2", width 3/4". There is a slight bend in the tip of this knife.
Otherwise, these are in excellent used condition with a bit of normal wear from use.
