"Want" is the word to claim and item. Asking a question only will not hold it for you. If you need to know something about the item, please type "WANT" and ask the question. If you then decide you don't want it, please type "PASS" in the comment section so the next person will know they are up next for the item.
RESPONSE TIME
If you go to the varagesale settings, you can set your notifications there. I see no need for sellers to have to wait 24 hrs after someone post "want" on an item. Please get with seller ASAP and make arrangements. You can pas after 12 hours if no response. Pass as soon as you know you are no longer interested. Thank you
If you do not want to get passed up...I suggest you go into your notifications and set them up!
Be kind to one another. Please do not argue or bash a seller or buyer on the feed or in the comments. Please try to settle it in a private message. if you still cannot work it out, contact an admin.
Don’t sell anything illegal. NO weapons of any kind! NO Drugs! NO stolen items! NO counterfeit purses or UGGS! If you do post a fake purse or UGGS, please state it in the status, that way there is no confusion. It's just not nice to rip people off! If it is real, have the proof to back it up.
Cross posting: If your going to cross post your items, state so in your status. Please no back door dealing.
Be respectful Don’t waste people’s time or gas money. We all have busy lives and thing happen. If you cannot keep your set appointed meet time, please notify the other person within 30 min of the meet time. I know some forget, but some make it a habit. if it becomes a habit, you will be removed from the group. It's just called being courteous to one another.
Please note that this is NOT a certain community group. You will have to agree on an place to meet that will both work for you.
Unless the item is heavy or the buyer lives close to the seller, please DO NOT list pick up at house. In other words, please do not expect someone to drive from Bartlett to Olive Branch for a pair of shoes. Find a suitable halfway mark.
Clean up after yourself manage your “Stuff" Please be sure to respond to people that comment on your items and delete your sold items. You can set your notification in Varagesale to notify you on FB if someone comments or messages you on Varagesale....how cool is that?
