This is a vintage, mid-century Thayer brand convertible high chair. I'm unsure of its exact age, but it's been in the family since my mom and her sister were babies, so it must date back to the late 1940s or early 1950s.

The chair has two configurations: both a high chair and a sort of play chair that's closer to the ground and has a built in desk or tabletop. The seat folds at the metal hinge and the large plastic discs become wheels, so that the play chair is easy to move around.

The high chair is 20" x 20" at the base and 43" high from the back of the seat. The wooden base (and thus seat) is 24" high. (I forgot to measure the second setup, but I'm guessing it's about 20" wide and 40-odd inches long.)

This is a really cool piece that could benefit from some TLC. The wood frame is in great shape, though the fabric on the seat and cushion (vinyl?) has dried out and started to flake and tear over the years.
