Beautiful Vintage 10” 3 way stereo speakers with upgraded components from Peerles of Denmark. The size and style remind me of vintage Marantz, KLH,and Altec Lansing speakers. Walnut veneer just oiled. Im not sure of the original brand of these speakers but all original componets have been replaced with quality newer parts. The 10” woofer is from peerless of Denmark, the tweeter is a nice motorola full dome tweeter, the input is a nice 5 way binding post that accepts bannana jacks, the crossover is point to point wired with poly caps and heavy gauge air core inductors, the internal wiring is nice monster cable, the cabinet is braced and stuffed with polyfill just right, a non resonant port is mounted in the front so it wont interact as much with the wall. someone put some thought and detail into getting these just right and they sound very good! These are very detailed speakers that will point out flaws in poorly mastered recordings very quickly. Perfect for a vinyl setup! Cabinets are real wood veneer and in decent shape for being older and I have just cleaned and oiled them up nicely. Grill covers have nice wood frames and attach with velcro. You can tinker more with different drivers and components in these cabinets or simply enjoy them as the builder intended. I originally planned to tinker with these but decided that i probably couldnt do any better than the last guy as they sound very good as is and woll hanfle at leat 100 watts each with ease.
