Not sure what type of fur this is but want to say mink. Passed down through my husbands family. There are two places inside where it was sewn together...tiny 2" seams. Moths possibly? It was sewn with such care that I simply could not tell. This garment has been extremely well cared for considering how old it is. It will make ANY women feel beautiful. I find that usually coats of this era are usually too short in the arms for me, but I've found that this one fits my long arms well. I am 5'9" with a normal mommy build so hope that helps. This is a treasure for any woman and a steal for a REAL FUR of this beauty.
