*This is a women's group. Although we have no problem with your husbands/boyfriends shopping through you, they are not to be sent to meet-ups without okaying that with the other member. DO NOT SEND MEN to do your meetup without okaying that with the other member (I felt it needed repeating). If you do, be prepared to have that other member refuse the transaction.
***These are your fellow community members, and these are not binding contracts. Before Meet-ups are set and until money is exchanged for item, anything could happen and buyer or seller may need to back out of the sale. It will happen at times and isn't anything we want to hear about. Move on.
*Exchange contact info and handle the meet-up details via email, rather than on the posted item. (You still must post on the item to be placed in line)
*GET CELL#'S at the start of your transaction talks.
*CONTACT THOSE YOU HAVE MEETINGS WITH, PRIOR TO THE MEET - THAT DAY - MAYBE WITHIN AN HOUR OR SO OF THE MEET. Things happen and people do forget about meets, or miss them. We consider a NO-SHOW an issue if they are unresponsive after the fact. If they have a legitimate reason for not being able to meet, give them the benefit of the doubt (it'll prob happen to you one day and you'll appreciate the same). BOTH parties are responsible for making sure that meeting takes place...don't show up without prior contact and then complain when the other member is a no-show.
*You are not obligated to reschedule with a no-show. That's up to you. (But blocking them or reporting them or complaining about them needs to be selective after considering the situation)
*If THE SAME PERSON is a no-show on multiple occasions, please let an admin know so we can notate their acct.
*If a no-show never responds back to you, please let an admin know. We allow mistakes and error, but there is no excuse for just being unresponsive to another member about a transaction.
DO NOT SELL FAKE NAME BRAND ITEMS. It's ILLEGAL AND NOT TOLERATED. It doesn't matter if it's disclosed as being fake or not...still illegal.
DO NOT SELL FREE SAMPLES (this includes free coupons or certificates that you get in the mail) but you are welcome to post them as FREE or for trade.
Under Categories, there is a Small Business Directory. You may advertise your business here and include your contact info and a link to your website. One active posting per business. THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE YOU ARE ALLOWED TO ADVERTISE A BUSINESS OR OTHER BUSINESS TYPE of FB PAGE.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL, unless the seller agrees to other arrangements. Please ask any and all questions about the item before exchanging money for product. It's Buyer's responsibility to know what you are purchasing. It's Seller's responsibility to describe items accurately. Especially with electronics, please make sure the item works prior to paying for it.
DISCUSSION page uses: To ask a question to other members, looking for services, to announce a big sale or opportunity or event in the community, to share ideas, etc. What the Discussion page is NOT for:
LOOKING FOR - Please post a generic pic of items you're looking for, and mark them with the "Im looking for this item instead of selling it". That way, people can search just the Looking For items and see yours. If you just post it to the discussions, it will get overlooked and lost.
MULTIPLE PICS OF AN ITEM - since we can now post pics in comments, you should post additional pics of your item in the comments below it, rather than in separate posts labeled pic 1 of 2, etc.
