Summerlea United Church is looking for your milk bags! How it works: they take these bags and weave them into mattresses for homeless shelters (big enough for one person and a pet), as well as making small mats to use as seats so they're not sitting on hard cold concrete. They not only give back to the community, but they also help by keeping all of these single use plastic bags out of landfills! Better still? All you need to do is call one of the remarkable ladies at Summerlea United, and they'll come pick up the bags! You can also drop them off at the church.
