Société Céramique was founded in 1859. It primarily made dinnerware, although it also made screenprinted blue & white Delftware plates. The mark on this wall plate was used from 1887 to 1955. This Delft wall plate, which measures 9-1/8” in diameter, may also be placed on a display stand. The blue and white color is very crisp and bright. I see no scratches on the face, only a small manufacturing flaw. The back of the plate also has few manufacturing flaws.
