You're getting the second speaker for free. They are covered under the manufacture warranty until 2023.
These are exceptionally sounding speakers! more than capable of covering the entire sound spectrum with ease. The 15" woofers can really pack a punch. You won't need a sub to cover the low end sound... In fact, my situation I can't even play them at their full potential because of where I live.
I guess you could say I over did myself on shopping for a pair of floor standing speakers..
