SPEED SYSTEMS 1700 SS ADJUSTABLE BLADE SCORER

The 1700 Series Adjustable Blade Scorers have adjustable blade depth for scoring (scribing) the semi-conductive shield of medium voltage cable so the semi-con can be removed without nicking or damaging the cable insulation. The tool switches between the square and spiral cutting functions without removing it from the cable. Leaf springs maintain constant pressure during operation. Blade depth is adjustable from 0.001" to 0.100".
1700-SS scorer can be used to make square cuts and spiral cuts and has a dial locking set screw.
For cables with outer diameter (O.D.) from 1/2" to 2" (12.7 - 50.8 mm).
