This is one of the 10 rarest Monopoly Games of all time!
In 1973, Parker Brothers released a Braille Edition of Monopoly for the very first time. To accommodate the visually impaired, this Braille Edition of the game features a hard plastic Braille cover that rests on top of the game board. Additionally, the property deed cards are larger than normal because they feature enlarged text as well as Braille. The money is printed on thicker paper with the denomination embossed in the upper left corner and the lower right corner. Not very many of the 1973 Braille Editions are around still, and this is one of those original sets!
The Braille Edition of Monopoly comes in a large plain cardboard box since the game board cannot be folded up because of the plastic Braille covering.
This set comes with:
28 property deed cards in Braille + 28 sighted regular property deed cards
11 Chance cards in Braille + 16 sighted regular Chance cards
16 Community Chest cards in Braille + 16 sighted regular Community Chest Cards
2 Braille dice + 2 sighted regular dice
8 tokens, 33 houses and 13 hotels
Braille money + Sighted regular money
Braille Board and Braille Instructuons
All in excellent condition!
