An 11x 11.6 ft Mahal rug hand woven in Iran circa 1930. Bought by present owners at Ararat in 1997 and evaluated for $9000. Rug is woven with 100% wool pile on cotton foundation. Pattern adapted from classical Aubusson rugs.
