I need to re-home my cat Oscar Maxwell. He is a very lovable and affectionate cat, but he has an alpha personality and him and our other cat Felix don't get along very well. We've had Oscar as a completely inside cat and I would suggest that he be the ONLY cat in the home. He is fixed already,and litter box trained. He's just a little over 2 years old and we've had him a little more than a year with this going on, some of it was before he was fixed (which we had our cats both fixed early this year) so we hoped that would fix their dominance issues, but its been over 9 months since and nothing has changed really. Has been receiving flea pill treatments (best way to treat him as he is REALLY hard to bathe). He is not a fan of being outside, although you might be able to "recondition" him to being an indoor/outdoor cat, but right now he's solely indoor for us. We took him in as a rescue from someone else who wasn't able to keep him hoping I would be able to have him as "my" cat, but with his alpha personality and being half the size of our other cat it just doesn't work for him because he rarely, if ever, can assert his dominance. I DO NOT want to have to take him to ARF or the County Shelter for them to murder him, please someone save my cat. I love him and I'm sad that I am having to give him up, but I don't want him to continue "losing" to our other cat.
