It was designed with safety in mind, sporting slip-resistant, Tracton-Tred D-rungs and durable shoes that rest flat on a slip-resistant pad unless they are being held in spur position with SHU-LOK. In addition, the exclusive ALFLO rung joint means twist-proof performance every time, and the heavy-duty, modified I-beam side rails offer solid support. It was also designed to be easy to use with spring loaded locks, and a durable polypropylene operating pulley for smooth,easy operation. It is rated Type II for Medium Duty/Commercial Use, and has a 225 lb. duty rating.
