The Washington dollar was the first coin issued in the Presidential $1 coin program, honoring our nation's deceased presidents in the order that they were in office. Four coins were issued each year from 2007 through 2016. Then in 2020, another issue was released for President George H.W. Bush.

This 2-coin set has one dollar from the Philadelphia Mint, and one from the Denver mint...where these coins were struck for circulation. "IN GOD WE TRUST," the issue date and mint mark, as well as "E PLURIBUS UNUM" are stamped on the edge of the coins. They are encased in a plastic display pack, and make great gifts for the history buff.
