LOOKING FOR A POSITION AND A PLACE TO CALL HOME

As a caretaker and/or assistant to a couple who want to stay in their home and maintain their acreage. This could be shopping, mowing and other odd jobs around the home.
I have owned and maintained acreages for the past 45 years to a very high standard. I come with my own, newer equipment.
Other skills I have, 50 years of grocery shopping, maintenance and household chores. For 3 years I worked Sendial – Thrify’s located in Saanichton so I know my way around grocery stores and sales.
I am a healthy active widowed senior with a lot to offer. I am a package deal... I have 2 fabulous dogs – mini shelty and a mini aussie mix. My dogs are well looked after and I take them wherever and whenever it is appropriate.
I keep myself busy volunteering with Farmlands Trust (Central Saanich) both at the Board level as well as boots on the ground working the farm under the direction of the Farm Manager.  I am passionate about "field to plate" making sure fresh healthy food is distributed to those in need.
No looking for a fancy mansion, as it is only me and my dogs, a place to call home, rest my head and play with the dogs. 600 square feet would be more than enough for me to rent. It would be wonderful to keep busy and help you keep your home/land in tip top shape for a discounted rent rate. Let’s chat about that.
