Here is a very rare find. This is an MCM Record Player made here in Vancouver, BC. The old electrical tubes works and you can hear the static when it’s on.
The turntable itself does not turn. It’s mechanical and needs a tune up. I have talked to people that do restorations etc and they told me it’s not a hard fix. The record player itself can be separated from the lower part with ease.
It’s in great shape overall considering the age, but it’s a restoration project for sure. I was supposed to, but have never had the time.
I have made a video (cannot post videos on this site) that shows that the electrical is working, that I can send upon request. I can also send more photos if needed.
